Torrita at Sunset

On the evenings of 25 July, 8 August and 22 August 2026, “Torrita at Sunset” returns, an initiative organised by Just in Tuscany to discover the Torrita di Siena area at the most atmospheric time of day.

The three events are designed for those who wish to walk at a leisurely pace through the Tuscan countryside, as the setting sun casts golden light over the hills, olive groves and silhouette of the ancient village.

“Torrita at Sunset” offers an original way to experience the most authentic side of Tuscany, combining nature, outdoor activity, conviviality and the flavours of the local area. With its historic centre enclosed by ancient walls, narrow brick-paved streets and traditional gateways, Torrita di Siena provides the perfect setting for peaceful summer evenings away from the rush of everyday life.

To take part in the events and turn the experience into a relaxing holiday, visitors can stay at Dimora del Campanile, located in the heart of Torrita di Siena’s historic centre.

Set within the former rectory of the Collegiate Church of Saints Martin and Costanzo, the residence can accommodate up to four guests and retains the charm of a traditional Tuscan home, with exposed stone walls, wooden beams and warm, welcoming interiors.
